Today, the best live album in history complete 28 years of age. Under a blood red sky was launched aiming to promote the War Tour. It was the first U2 live record, recorded at Red Rocks Amphitheatre Morrison, Colorado (near Denver) in the United States. A heavy rain threatened the show, but as U2 had spent so much money with Island Records, decided to do it anyway. And it worked. The rain left the show even more beautiful. Rolling Stones magazine put as the best live recording of the 80's and the video for 'Sunday Bloody Sunday "as one of the 50 moments that changed the history of Rock and Roll. This video was included on the DVD U2 18 Videos of 2006.

Larry talks about the rain that threatened the show: "There was a lot of money riding on this, That Was everything in the bank, Basically. We were Well organized, camera crews all over the gig. We Brought extra lighting, searchlights, all kinds of stuff. And then it started to rain. Those Were nail-biting times. Many of the crew Were advising us to pull out, but in true U2 style, we carried on regardless. "
The show officially U2 as the best live band, with great audience response and enthusiasm of the band. Bono also interacts more with the audience, women dance with him.
